Morphotones are series of kinetic light painting photographs that use public light scenes to create abstract compositions. The long exposition technique with a method of camera movement reveals the relationship between the darkness and the light. The artist must select sources of light and moves them by hand through the picture, simultaneously manipulating the focus and zoom weal. The variety of sources of light that are used in the environment uncovers a painting potential through the frequency spectrum of light. This way the public light scenes are transformed into an expressionistic painting where the light acts as the paint and the darkness as the canvas. The texture, colour, and rhythm are determined by different light source properties like frequency and flicker.

Morphotrones series is dedicated to creating photographs that are revealing the relationship of darkness and light through transpersonal experience incorporated in the expressive movement of the camera.
